Relief groups mourn their losses in Haiti

Two United Methodist Church executives, a Lutheran seminarian and three missionaries of the Free Methodist Church died as a result of the massive earthquake. Other religious organizations are still awaiting word about whether staffers and their family members are alive and safe.

‘To Save a Life’ is a faith-based initiative

The Christian forces behind the new film say they’re using the medium that teens respond to best to deliver an uplifting inspirational message. On the surface, “To Save a Life” doesn’t sound that different from a host of indie films — a drama involving a teen coping with the aftermath of a student’s suicide who finds solace in a group of outsiders.
