I don’t know why, but I’ve always been a fan of all kinds of institutional furniture , which is why I love going to the local church garage sales. They tend to sell really great benches and chairs for a really great price, that I can never pass up on because I like to take them home and refinish them, and reupholster them to make them like new again. I guess it is something of an odd hobby, but there is just something about restoring good furniture and then donating it to the smaller churches
